Astronomy night

An evening with the Westgarth stars and the moon!

Wow! Over 80 families came, close to 300 Westgarth family members! We had 5 telescopes, some expert astronomers, a film on the solar system, indoor displays including some beautiful antiques and books, who knew we had such knowlege and interest in astronomy in our community!

There were delicious home baked goodies, mulled wine and the ladies pumped out endless cups of warm Milo! My favorite part was seeing Saturn which brought lots of oohs and ahhs as we took turns looking through the telescopes. Thanks to everyone who attended and made it such a special night.
