First we watched a video of last years winning robot "the beast" from England, we got given some booklets on robotics to read at home and it was time to head off into our teams for some robot action.

"We had Rob the robot, he could do a lot of things like spinning around in circles and making funny noises. We made him do these things by programming him with a drag and drop program which was very easy. It was fun because we could choose to do whatever we wanted."

We programmed the robots using the ipads, which we had to change from being in Spanish! and you could do some things from the menu on the robot too.

Yikes, the virtual robotics wasn't working, so we had to play around with the EV3 site instead! it should be sorted for next time though, sorry guys!

We learnt alot, like Frank the Mindstorms LEGO NXT robot works well, but not with an ipad, he needs a laptop.

Robogals are coming next time, very exciting! See you all then!
